Before the Beginning until After the End

Revelation 1:8

Context

The reality surrounding Jesus Christ of Nazareth is more than just a story. It’s not a fable. It’s not a parable, legend, or myth. The existence of Jesus shatters the physics of time while remaining amazingly personal and accessible to the human mind.

The story of Jesus is timeless. It has no story arc because it has no beginning, middle, or end. It is an eternal story. It is a perfect story. It is a story that must be told. It is a story that changes lives and saves the human soul from total destruction.

These three passages all deal with the pre-existent and creative reign of an eternal king! They highlight a story that extends from “before the beginning until after the end.”

Key Scriptures

Revelation 1:8
“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

John 1:1-3
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made.

Colossians 1:16-17
For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. 17 And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
