Kids! Summer Camp: Created to Create
June 20–22, 2023
Summer is exciting at Ridgewood Church, especially if you're a kid! We've got some adventures planned this year that will not only thrill kids but will thrill parents as well. Registration opens February 1!
Tammy Daun
Tammy is currently one of the amazing teachers at Ridgewood Preschool. She really enjoys working with children. They bring delight to her heart. She and her husband, Brian have two children; a married daughter and a teenage son. In her free time she enjoys reading, swimming, walking, taking photos, sitting by the campfire, and kayaking. Some of her favorite places to be are in a garden, at a lake or ocean, at an art gallery and at the dinner table with friends and family.
Jodi Hogan
Jodi has been teaching preschool for the last seven years, but to be honest, she really hasn’t left the preschool realm since she was a preschooler because playing and being silly are her favorite things to do. She initially got a degree in psychology at St. Cloud State, but later went back to get her teaching license in special education and received her master’s degree. She and her husband, Dan have three children who are all in their teens.
Krista Joy Olson
Krista is extremely excited to welcome kids to her Sing, Dance, and Play summer camps at Ridgewood! Krista, a licensed music teacher, loves to share her passion for Jesus, music (and kids) through storytelling, dancing, singing, playing instruments and so much more!
Chris Jurek
Chris is an assistant teacher at Ridgewood Preschool. She loves learning, laughing, and sharing the love of Jesus with the children. Chris graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the College of St. Benedict. She went on to earn a certificate in lay ministry at the University of St. Thomas. She’s walked in faith with children ages 3-16 at her church for the past 29 years. Chris and her husband, Russ, have two teenage children. She’s beyond grateful for the joy and blessings experienced each day at preschool!
Klaire Lutz
Klaire has had a heart for children for as long as she can remember. She currently teaches 4th grade at Wayzata Meadow Ridge Elementary. Last year she had the opportunity to teach at Ridgewood Summer Camps and loved it! In her free time she enjoys spending time with family, hosting Bible study, wake surfing, and adventures with her husband, Jordan! Klaire is looking forward to another great summer with Ridgewood Summer Camps. It’s going to be a blast!
Hana Ryman
Hana has loved teaching kids of all ages in academic, church, and coaching capacities. Preschoolers have become extra special to her as she has had the privilege to substitute teach at Ridgewood this year. Hana is extremely extroverted and loves connecting with lots of different people and getting her competitive juices flowing playing board games. She is married to Matt and has 4 kids ranging from age 8-14.
Becca Soderberg
Becca has enjoyed teaching preschoolers in Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) for several years and loves working with kids of all ages as a substitute teacher. Her background is in music therapy and she is currently pursuing a graduate degree in Elementary Education. Becca and her husband, Dan have three great kids, and they enjoy traveling, reading, family movie nights, and playing board games.
Laurie Stay
Laurie is beyond excited about welcoming kids and their families to Ridgewood Summer Camps and sharing the love of Jesus with them! Laurie graduated with a degree in Elementary Education and later continued her education at Northeastern University in gifted education. Laurie and her husband, David live in Minnetonka with their two children, Matthew, and Madeleine. She loves working at Ridgewood Church as the Kid’s Ministry Director and looks forward to all God has in store for the summer camp program!
