Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin…Zechariah 4:10

Say “Yes.”

It’s amazing how one little word can change your life. But too often, our ‘yeses’ are reserved for default decisions we aren’t even intentionally making or the stuff we feel obligated to do. What if we started saying ‘yes’ to the important things? Yes, to parenting on purpose. Yes, to significant challenges and out-of-your-comfort-zone opportunities. Yes, to your marriage. Invitations to connect with others? Yes, please. Saying yes opens us up to new ways of thinking and helps cultivate a growth mindset.

To clarify, we’re not talking about people-pleasing or over-extending yourself. In fact, it’s the opposite. Developing a ‘yes’ mindset is living intentionally, focused on your goals for yourself and your family. It’s about listening to God’s still, small voice and doing the brave things rather than the easy things.

This is the year of yes! Yes, to God. Yes, to the thing that gives you butterflies. Yes, to this moment, these people, this life. Get ready to SAY YES.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is MOPS?

MOPS is a grassroots movement that believes moms are world influencers. We also believe that incubating hearts and giving just-because-hugs can change the course of history. That’s why we connect moms all over the world to a community of women, in their own neighborhoods, who meet together to laugh, cry, and embrace the journey of motherhood. MOPS groups are rallying women to be more honest, to feel more equipped, and to find our identity by journeying alongside one another. MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, and by preschoolers, we mean kids from birth through kindergarten. We know it’s a little confusing, so let’s just stick with “MOPS.” We are moms, and we believe that better moms make a better world.

What happens at a MOPS meeting?

We meet two Thursday mornings per month (September through May). A typical meeting includes a great speaker and some time to connect with the ladies in your small group. We have a variety of speakers and topics throughout the year — parenting tips to party planning, and everything in between! We also enjoy special events, service projects, and nights out

Where are the kids during MOPS meetings?

Your children will be watched over by loving and competent volunteers. Moms are encouraged to bring non-mobile, nursing infants if they are comfortable.

Why is MOPS important?

MOPS is a great place to connect with other moms who are in the middle of the busy season of life that comes when parenting small children. We get it. Motherhood is beautiful, messy, hard, and it’s a lot better when you have a few good mom friends to share the journey with you.
