THEME:
Women are the best gift God could have ever given us. When he made Eve to be Adam’s helper, he created someone who fit perfectly into his plan for humanity. God so values women that he has equated them with his most prized possession: the Church. But culture is trying to devalue femininity. So as Christ-followers, let’s choose to show the world a better way. Let’s stand up for godly womanhood—by treasuring women as Christ does the Church.
KEY SCRIPTURE:
Ephesians 5:25-28
Ephesians 5:25-28
Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, so that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish. In the same way husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.
The gospel reclaims the full, radiant dignity of women as the image-bearers of God, and cherished by Christ
