Ridgewood Kids Sunday Mornings

We believe that parents are the primary disciple-makers in the lives of their children, and we are here to partner with parents as they seek to teach their children to make faith their own. We do this by offering Sunday morning programming for children birth – grade 4. While parents are participating in the 10am service, children are encouraged to attend Sunday school. Children worship through song, hear a Bible story, and connect with God and one another through prayer and other engaging activities in a safe and nurturing environment.

Our goal is for families to be devoted to Jesus, devoted to one another and devoted to our mission to make Jesus known through community impact.

New to Ridgewood? If this is your first time attending Ridgewood Church with children, swing by the Kids welcome desk when you arrive. The kids’ welcome desk is located at the south entrance of the church. There will be a friendly face to greet you, help you register your child, and walk you and your child to their room to meet their leaders. Each parent will receive a pick-up tag that matches the child’s nametag for a safe and meaningful experience. You can save time with this process by registering your child before you come here:

Vacation Bible School (VBS) 2026

That’s a Wrap! Praise God for Vacation Bible School (VBS)!

Rainforest Falls VBS was an unforgettable, joy‑filled triumph at Ridgewood Church. From July 13–17, the building was alive with energy as 287 kids and their families dove into a week of worship, learning, and adventure. God moved in powerful ways—25 children made a first‑time decision to follow Jesus, 26 recommitted their lives to Him, and 7 kids received their very first Bible to take home.

The heartbeat of the week was the 117 incredible leaders who poured out love, creativity, and faith to make every moment meaningful. Together, the kids also raised $3,268 for Hockey Ministries International, showing generosity in action.

Over 400 people packed the church for VBS Celebration Sunday to worship God! The celebration didn’t stop there – after the service kids cheered as Pastor Kyle got dunked in the dunk tank. The children and their families enjoyed the bounce house, slushies, popcorn, face painting, balloon animals, crafts, and the Hot Diggity Dog Lunch.

Thanks to all of you who prayed and gave us your time for set up and clean up. It was a week overflowing with joy, community, and God’s goodness. WOW GOD!

What's Happening in Kid's Ministry

Popsicles on the Playground

Join us on the playground for popsicles almost EVERY Sunday June 7 – August 30 this summer after the service from 11am-noon! Come connect with other families and enjoy a delicious summer time treat! No need to register.

Pizza Party on the Playground

Join us on the Playground for a Pizza Party on Wednesday, August 5 from 5-6:30pm. Come connect with other families and enjoy a fun family night out! Registration required and space is limited.

Sign Up for AWANA

Awana Clubs for preschool & elementary children meet on Wednesdays from 4:30-6pm at Ridgewood.

The program is all about youth discipleship. Our goal is to develop a Biblical foundation and teach kids to live a life of wisdom and grace. Learn more and/or register for Awana by clicking the button below.

Family Dinners Are Back!

Join us on Wednesday nights from 6-6:30pm for our low-cost Family Dinners. Beginning September 16, we’ll kick off the season with a chicken dinner in the Gathering Place! Scott Borchers will be serving up chicken drumsticks, homemade baked beans, potato salad and rolls! Register by Friday, September 11th at NOON to secure your spot!

Child Dedication

At Ridgewood Church we value children. Periodically we dedicate children to the Lord at a Sunday service. It’s a wonderful way for parents, family and our church community to make a public commitment to help raise up a child to know and trust our Lord, Jesus Christ.

The next Child Dedication is Sunday, November 22 at the 10am service. Registration is open!
