Pastor for Senior Adults

About Ridgewood Church

Ridgewood Church is a growing and vibrant, multigenerational body of believers who seek to guide people into a relationship with Jesus. Our mission is to “Make Jesus Known Through Community Impact.” We fulfill our mission through a vibrant kids ministry, our own preschool, a thriving youth ministry, partnerships with local schools, and much more.

We are excited to engage a Pastor for Senior Adults in order to minister to a large segment of our church who are 60 years-old or above. Our church is surrounded by many senior adult communities and so there is a wonderful opportunity to reach out to new men and women in our area.

About the Pastor for Senior Adults

He will serve as a pastor to our senior adult community.  He will also oversee, with the help of other staff members, the organization and implantation of our church-wide pastoral care ministry. He will have a passion, and the desire, to build relationships with people in this season of life.  Ideally, he will have experience in the area of pastoral care and in developing ministries to bring people together for the glory of God.  This pastor will lead from his relationship with Jesus Christ and will work with current volunteers to build a team, that will function under his leadership and training.

He will also meet the requirements for pastor/elder as stated in the Pastoral Epistles.

This is a part-time position with flexible hours. Sunday mornings are a must. For more information please contact Walt Pitman (Executive Pastor) at wpitman@mywc.org.
