THEME:

Jesus called the disciples to a mission that was far bigger than their hometown, their customs, or their comfort zone. And today, that same calling rests on us. The Church is global. When you say “yes” to Jesus, you are stepping into a worldwide movement of grace and purpose. If you are willing, you can discover the joy of living in God’s big, beautiful, worldwide story.

KEY SCRIPTURE:

Revelation 7:9-10

Revelation 7:9-10

After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!”

The joy of living in God’s story includes embracing the responsibility of being His ambassador

God’s vision for every nation should shape your vision for the world

Revelation 7:9

After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands…

Revelation 6:9

When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the witness they had borne.

Romans 10:14

How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?

Revelation 7:10

…and crying out with a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!”

How I can believe, personalize and proclaim the message:

  • Believe that salvation is only found in a relationship with Jesus
  • Personalize the responsibility

1 Peter 2:9

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

  • Examine your sphere of influence and begin to pray for those who live in it
  • Persevere

John 16:33

“I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”
