Don’t Stop Now!

Life can be discouraging but remember that the person you are praying for, the situation that seems to never change, the pain that won’t go away—are all in the hands of a persistent and all-powerful God. So, whatever your trial may be, keep trusting. Keep moving. Keep trying. Whatever you do, don’t stop now!
KEY SCRIPTURE:
Jonah 3:1-4
Jonah 3:1-4
Then the word of the Lord came to Jonah the second time, saying, “Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and call out against it the message that I tell you.” So Jonah arose and went to Nineveh, according to the word of the Lord. Now Nineveh was an exceedingly great city, three days’ journey in breadth. Jonah began to go into the city, going a day’s journey. And he called out, “Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown!”
Take comfort in knowing God will never stop fulfilling his purposes.
Romans 12:2
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
Jonah 3:3

Being a gospel witness requires persistence. The task at hand is immense, so don’t stop.

Jonah began to go into the city, going a day’s journey. And he called out, “Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown!”
God is waiting for you. Never stop pursuing him. Time is short.
