Walt Pitman

Walt is committed to developing fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. With God’s enabling, he loves to coach and mentor leaders of all ages, modeling before them a Christ-honoring lifestyle, and equipping them for ministry.

Walt desires to have a strong, trust-based, partnership with the Lead Pastor that results in an ability to speak with “one voice” on key issues. Together, as an outward-focused leadership team, they can communicate Christ to the world and cultivate personal growth in Him. God has uniquely wired Walt to lead from the “second chair” and complement a Lead Pastor’s gifts and vision.

Walt’s hobbies include making artisan sourdough bread, running, softball, racquetball, golf, playing board games, and making wheel-thrown stoneware pottery.

He is married to Diane and they have three grown children – Ryan, Mindy, and Stacey. They have eight adorable grandchildren all of whom live in the Twin Cities. Walt loves to travel and camp with Diane and, of course, anything with the kids and grandkids.
